Someone says, “The river is no return”, but miracle can always happened. Magically, they really can recalled that sweet memories from 7 years ago back to us again…with this animation, “Winter Sonata Anime”.
“Winter Sonata Anime” already started its first episode on DATV. I know, many of us still wondering how the storyline going to be. So, I’d like to share here with family, especially oversea family who may not have the chance now to watch this anime. With my respect to the copyright of DATV, I won’t post any video clips in here. Just want to share some parts of the storyline that not included in 2002 drama series.^^
The story begins when Junsang go to New York for his operation and Yugin decided to go to Paris. While in New York, Junsang mused about his relationship with Yugin…how destiny led them to meet…

Yugin…if we didn’t have that photograph, we wouldn’t have met.
Even now I often think about it.
I shouldn’t have met you. We shouldn’t have met.
One printed photograph, a meeting of two.
The chance occurrence which led to this,
would become such a struggle for the three of us.
No one could have realized it back then…

At the same time, Yugin is in Paris and recalled her memory, her last encounter with Junsang…with that promise, “let’s not meet again”…

Ah, this heartbreaking promise must be the reason, why Yugin didn’t run after Junsang to New York…she had promised him, “not meet again” and “live happily”…how can that be?
The condition of his illness is really terrible now…
Doctor : The hematoma near the optic nerve has grown too large. We need to operate as soon as possible.
Junsang : If we operate, will I get better? (Oh, this sounds familiar…sound like Kang Jaeho^^)
Doctor : It depends on the state of the residual blood clot. It’s impossible to say right now.
Junsang : Medication, whatever, anything is fine. Just, until then…
Until then…let me stay like this.
Junsang have no chance to see again. He have to live in the darkness…the rest of his life…but at least, this time he can keep his sweet memories with him…the memory between him and Yugin…
And the story flashed back to the first day they have met, on the bus, as we all know by heart from 2002 drama series. However, I’m so sure that we never bored to feel that pure first love again and again, and again…
And I’d like to share this beautiful song. It’s the ending theme song of “Winter Sonata Anime”. The original soundtrack album (Vol.1) will release on Nov. 25…
